Quick answers about planning a ride or drive around the weather.
Type a From and To, paste a Google Maps directions link (short share links work too), or import a GPX file. Pick your departure date and hour, then Create report.
Your estimated arrival time and the weather (temperature, rain probability, wind, gusts, visibility) at points along the route, the Dry Road Score, live road closures on your route, a ride-comfort read (how it will actually feel), sunrise/sunset at the destination, and food options near each checkpoint.
How often the route is sampled for weather β every 30 / 60 / 90 / 120 minutes. More often = more detail. You'll find it under Ride options.
An estimate of road-surface dryness at each point: likely dry, possibly damp, or likely wet. It combines recent rainfall, drying conditions (sun, wind, temperature, humidity), soil moisture and altitude. See the guide for detail.
Yes. Pick your vehicle under Ride options β motorcycle, scooter, car, van or bicycle β and the warnings adapt: crosswind for vans, aquaplaning and fog for cars, grip and cold for riders. Riders with heated gear can say so, and the comfort read adjusts.
Routing engines give optimistic, free-flow times. We slow them for traffic and twisty mountain roads and add rest breaks, so arrivals β and the weather read at them β are realistic. Pick your break style under Ride options.
Yes β every report compares the next 7 days for the same route and ranks them by rain probability and road dryness. Tap a day to re-plan it.
Yes, three ways: πΎ save the ride (reopen it anytime from π My rides β no account needed), tap π Monitor for a short daily Telegram digest of how the forecast is evolving, and in the Android app saved rides send you a notification when the weather genuinely changes β plus a briefing about an hour before you leave. See the guide.
Create a report, tap π‘ Live tracking, open @Haremoto_bot, and share your Telegram Live Location. The bot warns you when rain or wet roads are coming up; send /status for the forecast ahead. The Android app has this built in β tap Start ride and warnings arrive as notifications. See the guide.
In the Android app, Start Ride follows a route you planned in a focused GPS/weather cockpit. Ride Now records without a destination, checks current-location weather after about a minute if direction is unclear, then checks projected weather about 15 and 30 minutes ahead and repeats roughly every 15 minutes. Ride Check is a free preflight for precise GPS, background recording, alerts, battery/heat, offline storage, sensors, calibration and account/Pro state; it can send a real test alert. Blue rows are informational/not yet applicable, green is verified, amber needs attention and red is a confirmed failure. Its offline-storage check writes and removes a real probe in the ride queue area, so an incorrect Android free-space figure cannot create a false failure. Both ride types keep running when minimized and remain recoverable after an interruption. See the guide.
Weather Escape is Pro and works from a planned report or a planned ride's weather alert. It compares a drier corridor and shows weather gain, extra distance and time before you choose it. Google Maps receives the corridor waypoints. Because one Waze deep link accepts one target, Haremoto provides a next dry waypoint link and a separate final destination link. During an active ride, tapping one first applies the alternative to Haremoto, then opens navigation, keeping background monitoring and navigation on the same route. If the paid routing budget is exhausted, Haremoto falls back to OSRM rather than stopping the ride.
GPS, weather checks and recovery continue, while lean/G recording is already paused without eligible moving GPS. After a confirmed 15-second stop and sustained mount-position change, Haremoto keeps dynamics suspended until the phone is stable in the mount again or you use Calibrate now while stationary. Peaks already recorded remain saved. Normal engine and vibration-damping holder movement is filtered and does not meet the sustained remount gates.
A Pro Offline Ride Pack stores a planned route, timestamped checkpoint forecast and recovery metadata on this device; the forecast may become stale without signal, and third-party map tiles are not copied. Garage links rides to a motorcycle and tracks odometer, service, tyres, chain and notes. Free accounts can keep two bikes; Pro supports ten and the complete maintenance history.
Reopen Haremoto; an active ride remains recoverable. Version 1.5.2 and newer keeps a small offline technical log for Java/native crashes, ANRs, WebView failures, UI stalls and keyboard/focus loops, then retries delivery when online. It never records what you type, coordinates, route/sensor values or account identity. When contacting support, include the approximate time, phone model and what screen you were using.
Yes. On Android/Chrome choose Install app from the browser menu; on iPhone tap Share β Add to Home Screen. The native Android app adds ride tracking and push alerts. Google Play production access is ready; store availability depends on the current rollout.
Yes β the free EV planner shows chargers along your route, a charging plan (where to stop, for how long, roughly what it costs, arrival battery) and weather-aware range. Pick your car from a list with realistic real-world consumption, or enter a custom one, name it and save it.
No β everything core works without one. Signing in with Google (the π€ icon) syncs your saved rides across devices and raises your save limit (3 β 7). Your routes stay yours; you can export or delete your data from the account menu anytime.
An optional subscription that keeps the free tool free and unlocks power features: β Weather Escape, π¦ weather-aware round trips, β best time to leave, π multi-day tours, ποΈ scenic routing, Offline Ride Packs, complete Garage history, telemetry coverage, detailed ride history and mounted-phone lean/G-force estimates, plus up to 50 saved rides. Subscribe from the π€ account menu on the website; cancel anytime. See the guide.
Yes. The planner, reports, alerts and the EV planner are free, with no account required. An optional Pro subscription adds the power features above and supports the project.
Only if you accept analytics, self-hosted Umami counts aggregate product actions such as plans generated, rides started/ended, weather alerts, reroutes, offline packs and Pro entry points. Events use coarse categories and never include coordinates, origin/destination, route names, email/account identity, lean angles, G-force values or other telemetry. Change this anytime from Cookie settings.
It's a planning estimate. Times assume normal riding; weather is a forecast and can change, especially in the mountains. Check official sources and ride to the conditions. Haremoto is not a navigation app β don't use it while riding.
